10.5 months

She's a noisy one and no mistake. Angharad likes to shout, A Lot. She also likes to chat on anything that vaguely resembles a phone, holding it up to her head and saying "'Lo?" or something that sounds like it. Very very busy and on the go whenever she's awake - doesn't seem to have much of a low gear - is either asleep, or turning everything up to eleven. Barely sits still long enough for stories, and wants to turn pages all the time. She is constantly on the move, and is a bit of a daredevil - climbs up onto chairs and the sofa and will stand teetering on the edge. We have saved her life several times!! She has strong legs and can stand up on her own with no support, and stay there for a good 20 - 30 seconds before sitting down again, or bodyslamming forwards onto the beanbag (a favourite game). Physically, she's different to Leo in this respect - the first times he stood unassisted it was by holding something for support, and then letting go. But she just goes straight up from the middle of the floor, as if she's on hydraulics! She loves to zoom around with the trolley, and tries to push Leo's little stroller although she struggles as it's so light and wobbly and keeps overturning. Can walk around holding one hand.

Foodwise, she's pretty unfussy, has Weetbix and fruit for brekkie, maybe a bit of toast. Likes melon, banana, crackers, sandwiches, hot cross buns etc for grazing on during the day. Main meals - pretty much what we're eating, mashed up: spag bol, lasagne, fish pie, casserole, shepherds pie, soup, rice etc. (Fish definitely produces the stinkiest nappies, incidentally). Enjoys eating with her fingers and is a constant spoon-grabber - mealtimes are VERY messy. Often gets frustrated if she can't have what Leo's having (e.g. a whole apple or a carrot). I keep telling her to grow some teeth then she'll be able to have these things, but she hasn't taken any notice so far. Other foods of choice are bark chippings, tissues and Friskies.

Update - wrote this last week and hadn't posted it yet because needed to get photos off the PC - in the meantime 2 middle bottom incisors have FINALLY appeared, with no fuss.

this sight greeted me when I got back from the bathroom last week!
