For those wondering about her name, 'Angharad' is Welsh, and means 'much loved'. It links her to the country that has such a special place in both our hearts, as well as having an especially important place at the furrier end of Graham family history. Em knew a few Angharads at school; it's not an uncommon Welsh name. I (probably more so than Emily) have always preferred the less common names. We're really happy with our choice.
Although a Welsh speaker will have their own, more authentic pronunciation, we're happy with 'an-HA-rud'. Shortenings and pet names will suggest themselves in good time but we're guessing 'Hari' might be an option.
Her middle names are the same as Leo's, for the same reasons. 'Graham' and 'Mather' are our past-life alter-egos, that we'd like to keep going for another generation. It didn't seem right to give them both to Leo and then choose new ones for her, or to use one and not the other, especially as we were so sure they were right for him. If you're going to have good reasons for choosing middle names, we thought, there's no rule against using them twice!
Just going back to the hospital with Leo to see them both. More photos are coming! Give me 24 hrs :)

In the furry days Ben mentioned, I used to use 'Harad-fy' as a private endearment........which I can well imagine doing for my grand-daughter, too. And which might suggest other diminutives - Harad, Radvy.......
Incidentally, sometime ago we started using Firefox for the blogs, on your suggestion. Currently, however, they seem to misbehave in Firefox. It started with the comments page just looping endlessly without reaching a stasis. But just now, it was doing it on the blog page itself. I'm in IE& at this moment, and everything is fine. Has anyone else experienced this?

As a clumsy and ingrained double-clicker I find Firefox a right pain-in-the-mouse, double-clicks on anything bringing up endless adverts and homepages you don't remember setting! Even in IE I find the Blog sometimes does that white-noise-esque infinite spiral from time to time, Dad. Btw, it will be so hard NOT to automatically call my niece 'Harad'! Hope you can come home soon sister, love from Jennnaaaaayyyyy x
Actually yeah, I'd forgotten 'Harad'. Can see that happening!
